Here you can see the results of local activities of each school.
Pupils of each school could do 2 activities:
1/About a writer, his/her life and books, novels, ...
Pupils of each school chose 1 writer, talked about him / her and then read a book - story. They talked about the story, wrote short summary amd made some illustrations to it.
The result is e-book: Reading stories is great fun
2/ About painter, his/ her life and artworks.
Pupils chose 1 painter, talked about him/ her, tried to know his/her artworks. They tried to paint some of them using various ways od painting.
The result of this activity can be video or photo-gallery.

Slovakian school
Reading a story in Slovakian school
Pupils of 3rd grade chose the book of the famous writer Mária Ďuríčková
and from this book they have read the story "Balloon" about the holiday of 1st May.
Great activity. We combined 3 subjects: Slovak language, Art education and English language.We made the video about this activity.
This activity is published also in e-book: Reading stories is great fun.
Older students created the presentation about Slovak writer Mária Ďuríčková, her books and reading of this story.
Slovakian painter Martin Benka
Pupils of 4th grade were talking about Slovak significant painter Martin Benka, then they tried to paint some of his artworks - lanscapes. Great activity. We all spent wonderful time together. We made the video about this actvity.
Older students created the presentation about the painter Martin Benka.

TURKEY SCHOOL
A painter, a painting
Our 4th grade students studied the famous painter Şevket Ahmet Pasha's painting "Pomegranates and quinces". We also learned about the painter.
He observed the geometric arrangement of fruits and the harmony of colors.
We tried to draw and paint this harmony.
Reading a story
We read the "three advice" story from the Mesnevi book of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi.First, we gathered information about the famous writer Mevlana. Then we learned lessons from this story we read.
Spanish team _ Picasso (Painting)
Pupils of kindergarten (5 YEARS OLD) were talking about Spanish important painter Picasso, then they painted some of his artworks - cubism. Nice activity. We enjoyed so much with the activity. We made the video about this actvity.
Older students of Grade 6 created the presentation about the painter Pablo Picasso. They presented in the meeting.
Spanish team _ Cervantes (Writer)
Don Quijote (Book)
All the school participated in this incredible activity. Grade 5 read book. In tablets and books, using different forms of reading. Sometimes in the library, sometime in the class and sometime in the countryside for enjoying the reading in different atmospheres.
They wrote a brief summary and drew a comic of the adventures of "Don Quijote de la Mancha". The most important book of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.
Grade 5 told the story to other grades with costumes and other class made art and craft ativities about Cervantes (the writer). Grade 6 (the oldest students of the school) created a presentation that they showed in the meeting Italy.
ITALIAN SCHOOL
3rd graders studied Modigliani's paintings and tried to imitate the painters' technique
Reading stories about leopardi's childhood and adholescence
The title of this book is a play on words
Leopardi dedicated many poems to the moon
children wrote a letter to the moon expressing their feelings and emotions
