Almost for each partner country Carnivals - in Slovakia called Fašiangy and Easter are very typical.

Fašiangy - Carnival time in Slovakia
After Christmas time especially in February - Carnival time full of fun, dances and balls is here. We called this time - Fašiangy in Slovakia.
We organized special "Online Carnival" also in this difficult time. And we can say - we enjoyed it much.

Spring Tradition in Turkey
TRADITIONS IN SPAIN
We are going to show you some examples of traditions and festival days in Spain. Such as ( Carnival, Earth day, Flamenco's Day, Valentine's Day, Book's Day...)
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY
We haven't got Spring holidays or Springs parties in Spain but some years ago, we started to import the tradition of the beginning of the spring from Ireland.
Earth Day
This day we write and read some poems to save the
planet and the earth.
EASTER
At school we do some art and craft activities about
easter eggs (but it's not really an Spanish tradition, it
is import for UK, but actually it's very popular in Spain)
Our real tradition in Easter are the Religious Parade
that they are considered World Heritage
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
We have two international days about women that we celebrate at school, the 11th February , in which we study about women and girls that are scientists us a references to our students, and the 8th March, for the Women's Day and the rights of women and trying the equality in Men and Women.
BOOK'S DAY
On the 23rd of April, We celebrate the international book day, in which we read some books, we do some drama plays and we make some art and craft us bookmarks
CARNAVAL
in Spain we dress up with costumes of different topics and we change the lyrics of a famous song with the lyrics of something funny about our school or something that happened during the year in a good mud.
